EASTON, PA (January 12, 2010) The National High School Coaches Association has recently announced that the 9th Annual National High School Wrestling Festival be aired live online at NHSCA.com. The annual event takes place on January 16, 2010 at Pleasant Valley High School in Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania with the first session starting at 9 a.m. and the last session at 7p.m.

Last year, a total of 30 teams from five different states gathered to compete in this event. Number one team in the nation Blair Academy went undefeated in the dual meet-tournament including a 72 point shutout over Archbishop Wood and a 74 to -1 triumph of Northfield Mount Herman, MA.
This year’s event will feature 13 new teams such as Northampton, Timberlane, Northeast Catholic, Pocono Mountain East, and Pocono Mountain West. Each team will compete on one of 10 mats used for the event throughout the day.
“We’re excited to be able to provide family, friends, and fans of high school wrestling the opportunity to share in an event they may not be able to attend,” said Executive Director of the NHSCA, Bobby Ferraro Jr.
