Competition:
Top High School golfers from around the country will be on hand to represent their state to compete for a National Championship.
Golfers who are ranked in the Top 25 in their state according to Junior Golf Scoreboard, or who have a 12 Handicap or below are eligible to participate in the Championship!
Format:
The 2011 NHSCA Girls Golf National Championship will feature two days of stroke play competition with two days of "playoffs" and a final-day dramatic shoot-out conclusion.
Players will play 18 holes of stroke play each day, Thursday and Friday, Round 1 & 2
The first cut will be after 36 holes to 32 players with a sudden-death playoff used in case of any ties at the 32nd spot (Scores Reset)
The second cut will be after 54 holes to 16 players with a sudden-death playoff used in case of any ties at the 16th spot (scores are cumulative through 54 holes).
The third cut will be after 72 holes to 8 players with a sudden-death playoff used in case of any ties at the 8th spot.
The final round will be played in four groups of two, with all scores carrying over.
Whoever shoots the lowest score in the final round will win the 2010 NHSCA Girls Golf National Championship
The Top 8 place finishers, will be declared NHSCA All-Americans.

A portion of the room rate will be collected for the benefit of the NHSCA. Please note that your rate has not been affected in any way, and the rebate helps make it possible to keep the registration fees down for this annual tournament.
Located in Bradenton, Florida, IMG Academies is close to numerous attractions, fantastic shopping and great restaurants. There is plenty to do around the area as we are only minutes away from Sarasota and the beaches and about one hour south of Tampa.
If you are looking for places to eat in and around the area we have a list of local restaurants we have a list here and we also have a list of restaurants for the nearby Anna Maria Island!
You can also head down to St. Armand’s Circle (about a 15-20 minute drive) for shopping and dining. This is a great area to take the family for the day and explore the area.
From there, you can drive down to Siesta Key and visit this world-famous beach. We also have many local beaches where you can spend time soaking in the sun and enjoying the Florida weather!

If you have more time on your hands, you can venture to Tampa (approximately a one hour drive) or Orlando (approximately a two hour drive). In Tampa you will find theme parks like Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, you can go to the Lowry Park Zoo, or check out the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. Orlando offers you a chance to visit Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Wet ‘n Wild, and much more!
